Christmas Banquet Clarification

OK, there was some question as to whether or not the rules covered hitting the ball if it hasn't touched the table... so I refer you to rule 4.03(j) which says:

It is a foul if the ball is hit before the start of a possession while it is still over the table and does not immediately come in contact with the table.

So it's only a problem if you hit it before it clears the table and it doesn't hit the table right away.

Unless we want to change that...

Notice the definition of a hit no longer specifies contact with a hand... therefore, it is really only necessary to use the hand on an attack hit.
